If you had to only choose ONE experience while visiting Denver or are stuck trying to figure out which experience to add to your list, this is the one to run with. The memories of this day will always be something I cherish. I’m not one to typically like long reviews because I want to get to the point, but I find myself backspacing ramblings of how amazing this experience was. So I’ll get to the point, Tyler goes above and beyond to make sure you are safe, well prepared, informed of your surroundings and comfortable- all ingredients to having a wonderful time. He makes the experience personable with his one of a kind personality. Everything about the hike was truly perfect, I would not have changed a single thing. I was also fortunate enough to have been in a group with three other wonderful solo travelers. This is the experience to book!

I would 110% do this again if I come back to Denver! Tyler was incredibly thorough, prepared, and knowledgable about the hike and his tour. I have a knee injury and he made sure we did a hike that *I* was comfortable with and he called the day before to check in to see how I was feeling. On the hike, he went at my pace, was patient, and even ran to get the car early when my knee started hurting. He really knows his hiking stuff and has even been to Everest (!). Aside from being an expert, he's also just fun to be around and engages you in conversation. I almost forgot that we were taking photos - it was like an added benefit to an amazing morning on the mountain, with minimal effort on my side. He did the research, came with gear, and navigated. Worth while experience!

Hiking with Tyler was so fun! This was supposed to be a group trip for me and when everyone bailed last minute I was scrambling for what to do. I found this and was super happy with the experience. This is a must if you’re traveling SOLO! Tyler knows a lot about the area and tailors the hike around you. I would do this all again!

Tyler is kind, easy to talk to, a wonderful guide for a hike and on top of that he takes AMAZING photos. Couldn't have had a better experience! Tyler is very attuned to the needs of people that book with him, and is accommodating, super knowledgeable about the Denver terrain and fun to be around. If you book with him, ask about his worldly/outdoor adventures - he's also got some great stories!!

I contacted Tyler to do a winter hike in the rockies and he responded very quickly that it was no problem. He picked me up and we drove early to the mountains to start our hike just before sunrise and he had brought extra equipment just in case I needed it. Tyler is one of the good guys and a lot of fun to be around, I really enjoyed his company – he has many adventure stories to share from all over the world. From start to finish of our hike he took some amazing pictures (check out his website, his photographic skills speak for themselves) and I am very happy with them. It’s definitely an experience that I will keep with me for the rest of my life and I even have some amazing pictures from it. Lastly, maybe I’m lucky that I found him just starting out with his airbnb experience, but the value you get for this experience is just insane! He works as a hiking guide and as a photographer in this experience and if you had to hire both separately for 4-6 hours it’s gonna add up to A LOT of money. When I come back to Colorado I will book Tyler again first thing.

The morning hike was so magical! I have traveled to over a dozen countries and this by far is one of my favorite and most memorable experiences . Tyler was charismatic and extremely considerate of his guests and prioritized our safety. His background also helped in providing a unique experience , he was very knowledgeable about the entire mountain. I am definitely recommending this tour to all of my friends!

I don’t even know where to begin, words can’t describe how extraordinary our experience with Tyler was. It was truly a fantastic experience. He went above and beyond every expectation we had of this trip. We hiked in the dark with head lamps, watched the sunrise, drove through scenic mountain lined valleys, saw wildlife (I briefly felt like a Disney princess) we walked across frozen lakes and climbed snowy covered mountain paths. He was prepared for any situation and with everything we could have needed. He catered our entire day specifically for our needs, We were fully in touch the days before setting a game plan for our experience. He also gave us ideas for hikes we could/should check out on our own and the day before, we hiked up to the top of the flatirons alone and I worked up a blister and my knee was bothering me. With absolutely no question he switched our day around so I would be more comfortable but still have the best day ever, and it was truly the best day of our trip to Colorado. His photography is also unmatched, completely blew our minds. He’s warm hearted, genuine and really cares about his clients with the best sense of humor. I don’t have the urge to book any trips without him here, we feel like we not only booked a Airbnb experience but feel like we really made a friend. Thank you Tyler !!!!

If you book any hiking tour this is definitely the one to go with. Tyler was super cool, helpful, quickly responsive, knowledgeable, and hilarious. His sense of humor broke the ice in our group ASAP and we all had an amazing time laughing and enjoying the scenery as if we’d all known each other for years. The trail we went on was breathtaking and Tyler got some amazing pictures that really captured the whole experience. Anytime one of us got nervous about a height level he was super encouraging and really challenged us out of our comfort zones in a super positive way. The meditation time was amazing and really got us all vibrating high. Definitely would book another trail with him and super grateful for the experience.

What I did know is that I wanted to see the mountains and Tyler was the only person who said he would pick me up from my Airbnb. What I didn't know is that this experience would leave me changed in a profound way that I haven't really unpacked yet. Tyler picked each member of our group up before dawn and we got to the mountain just in time for sunrise. He made sure that the hike he chose would be a great fit for everyone's skill level. It was a little challenging, but in the best way. He is a real-deal mountaineer and I trusted him completely to keep us safe. I slipped once on a big rock and he caught me, very literally saving my life. The scenery was breathtaking, the weather was perfect, and I felt something come alive inside of me while I was on that mountain. I didn't even care about the fact that he took pictures when I booked it, but now I am so thankful to have these memories. I had such a wonderful time on the first hike that I went back out again with him on the day I flew out. He even took me to the airport to make sure I didn't miss my flight. Each hike was different, each group was different, but Tyler made each experience magical. I will treasure my time in the mountains for the rest of my life. Whatever else you are thinking about doing in Denver is not going to be as good as this, I promise. You will not regret it in the least!

This experience with Tyler should be the "can't miss" experience on everyone's trip to the Denver area. The hike itself was beautiful, and there is multiple options depending on what kind of hike you were looking for. Tyler is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and great company in general. Beyond those things - he is an amazing photographer! He has so much combined experience in photography & hiking. Great stories to tell & an eye for things I would have otherwise missed doing this hike alone or with anyone else.

If I could give Tyler six stars, I would. From the questionnaire he sends out well in advance to learn each particular guests activity level and preference, to picking us up in downtown from our Airbnb, to having extra gear for us to wear, to constantly checking on our comfort and safety during the insanely cool hike, to phenomenal photos all throughout, and last but not least, the most epic food recommendation ever: Mac Nation! We tore up several different and delicious varieties of Mac and Cheese before Tyler dropped us off at our doorstep. It’s not often in life you experience something and think to yourself, “I should have paid more for this”, but this was without question one of those rare moments. Book with no fear or hesitation.

This experience was so special. This was not only my first Airbnb Experience, but it was also my first time in Colorado. I was traveling alone, had a packed schedule, and had no car - but was determined to get into nature and go on a hike. Enter Tyler. As soon as I booked and we started communicating via email, Tyler was responsive, knowledgeable, and kind. On the day of the hike, he went above and beyond to make sure I was safe, happy, and having a blast. As a solo female, I felt completely comfortable being 1:1 with him and would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an incredible time (+incredible pictures!) in the mountains. Where do I even begin? My husband and I recently visited Denver for our babymoon. I was almost 8 months pregnant and this hiking/photography experience was my favorite part of our very packed trip. From start to finish you could tell Tyler put in so much thought into creating a personalized, safe, one of a kind experience. He sends out a questionnaire to gauge your fitness levels and expectations for the hike. Bring pregnant, I wanted an easier hike with amazing views and Tyler definitely delivered. Throughout the hike he constantly checked to make sure I was okay and if I needed a break. I don't believe the hike would've been so amazing if he haven't planned so well. Being as he's a native to Colorado he knows the weather, he knows the trails and he knows everything you will need to make it your best experience. He brought along everything we would possibly need and wouldn't even think to bring. He took professional photos we would've never been able to take on our own especially as he knew the most picturesque locations on the trail. He was also such a great guy to hike with. You can tell how worldly he is through all his stories, he also gets to know everyone on the experience as well. It was like going on a hike with a long time friend. I felt safe the whole time, had such an amazing experience and have beautiful professional pictures to remember it all by. I would recommend Tyler and his experience a hundred times over!
